We open this issue with a dialogue about short prose, under its various forms and names: the sketch or the moment, the novella or the story. What do we call “short prose” and how do the writers manage to express values in the small space of the genre? Who are our favorite authors and what recommendations do we give to readers who want to read good short prose books? There are two, besides many others, from the questions about the classic and modern, universal and Romanian short prose, which we are trying to respond in dialogue. |
