The article “Gagauz pottage bulamach: some etymological notes” considers local variations of this ancient type of Gagauz pottage along with the local variations of its name. The key attention is paid to the history of origin of the name of bulamach. Its distribution among some other Turkic people, as well as among some non-Turkic neighbors of Gagauz (Bulgarians and Moldovans) is considered also. |
