Rezumat

Education is one of the main foundations for the child’s development. Failure at school and grade retention is a serious concern among children, and their parents. The aim of this article is to assess the presence of school related factors that cause school failure. The importance of the role of the teacher in defining factors that lead to school failure is extremely important. In the modern school of today, teachers are engaged in various activities that tend to diminish in marking discrepancies. The reasons for school failure are almost as complex as are the reasons we are unable to turn around underperforming schools in vast numbers. These reasons are multifaceted and interrelated, compounding and exacerbating the problem of school failure. The analyzed factors that lead to school failure are followed by regulatory techniques of preventing learners to fail in the class.
