The actuality of the given research is determined by the importance of financial performance for any enterprise. This concept is multidimensional and transdisciplinary and its complexity has conditioned the use of different evaluation approaches and methods. Thus, the evaluation of financial performance is still an actual research topic. Financial performance is influenced by a wide range of factors. One of such factor is considered to be capital turnover. The current state of studying the relationship between capital turnover and financial performance has focused on developing the methodological framework for assessing the influence of the capital turnover not on the financial performance as an integrating concept but on its various dimensions (profitability, liquidity, solvency, etc.). This research paper aims to clarify such concepts as capital, performance, financial performance. Moreover, it seeks to develop a reliable methodology of financial performance evaluation as a whole concept based on an aggregated index, which will lead to a better understanding of the relationship between capital turnover and financial performance of industrial enterprises. |
