This documentary represents the reports of the French Ambassador in Turin, the Duke of Gramont and reflects the attitude adopted by Sardinia in the question of the union of the Romanian Principalities and the delimitation of the frontier in Southern Bessarabia. Sardinia supported alongside the France the union of the Romanian Principalities. As far as southern Bessarabia is concerned, the Turin government adopted a neutral position, because of the fact that it didn’t know the course of the Works for the delimitation and requiered time to be informed. Finally, Sardinia has rallied to the British point of view that the southern Bessarabia would return to the Principality of Moldova |
