Articolul este dedicat cartografului și fortificatorului François Kauffer (1751-1801 гг.), care pe parcursul ultimilor nouă ani din viață s-a aflat în serviciul Imperiului Otoman, concomitent fiind și agent al Imperiului Rus. A acordat o atenție deosebită, în lucrările sale Basarabiei și Moldovei, unde el a participat la întărirea cetăților Akkerman, Bender, Ismail, Chilia și Hotin (în anii 1793-1797). La articol sunt anexate documente, listele manuscrise ale planurilor și hărților, păstrate în Arhiva istorico-militară din Moscova. |

Particular attention is given to his work in the territory of Bessarabia and Moldova, where he took part in strengthening the fortresses of Akkerman, Bender, Izmail, Kiliya, and Khotyn (in 1793-1797). The paper includes documents and lists of his manuscript maps and plans, which are stored in the Military Historical Archive (Russian Federation, Moscow). </description> </descriptions> <formats> <format>application/pdf</format> </formats> </resource>
