Within the generational aesthetic program what defines and distinguishes the
poet Grigore Chiper is the poetics of the hue, delicate lyricism, and bookish refinement. First minimalist gestures impregnated by a spleen that oscillates between sadness and disappointment pass entirely into poet’s other books. Therefore, the whole of his creation is a whole found in every part and it’s a part faithful to the whole. Deviations are minimal. It’s a poetics of rotation in a circle perpetuating from one volume to another. Spirit cultivated by readings, manifesting refined sensitivity, the poet „assembles” in a game of imagination and feeling, a jig-saw of reality in a circuit of bookinshness, of the cultural context. Everything that is existential matter in his poetry tends to become a performance of intelligence, an interpretation through bookishness and intertextuality. |
