Obesity and the principles of correct nutrition
Obesity is not just a cosmetic consideration; it is a serious health problem. It is prodused by the combination of an excessive nutrient intake and a sedentary lifestyle. Some studies reveal that excessive body predisposes to various diseases, particularly cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2, cerebrovascular accidents, sleep apnea, high blood pressure (hypertension), hypercholesterolemia and osteoarthritis. The main treatment for obesity is to reduce body fat by eating fewer calories and exercising more. |
