Valorization of relational competence in the formation of the Social Pedagogues

Rezumat

Objectives. Determining the theoretical and conceptual fundaments of the relational competence of the social pedagogues; clarifying the specificity of social interactions by means of communication within the activity of the social pedagogues; designing and renovating the curricula for the initial professional formation of the social pedagogues in the Republic of Moldova, oriented towards the formation of relational competence; evaluating the levels and formation (initial and continuous) particularities of relational competence of the social pedagogues in superior education; projection and experimental validation of the Training for developing the relational competence of the social pedagogues in the perspective of ensuring the quality of the social-educative quality. Material and methods. Experimental actions have been made on a representative sample of 118 subjects implied in the experiment. The determined values along the theoretical way for the structure of the relational competence of the social pedagogue (empathy, active listening, self-control of emotions, activity projection, management of the group, formation of life skills) will be measured during the pedagogical experiment based on the established methodology. Results. Quantitative analysis of data by applying the method of diagnose of interpersonal relations drawn up by T. Leary at the controlling phase of the experiment, change considerably the level of individual attitudes towards the group colleagues through the established-on level of authoritarian type, egoistic type, aggressive type, suspicious (sceptic) type; dependent type; friendly type; cooperant, altruistic type. Therefore, the low level of these attitudes gather towards the interior of the circle, and the values grow for moderate attitudes of the collaborative behavior registered on 53.3% of the subjects (in comparison to 13.3% of the subjects who have been registered this level at the conclusion phase of the experiment); the same percentual value being registered for the independent type (53.3%), altruistic type have demonstrated results of the moderate level at this phase of experiment 56.7% compared to 23.3% of the subjects at the conclusion phase. Identifying the low level of the component of activity projection, registered by the pedagogues working in the communitarian centers during the questioning at the phase of identifying of the experiment (26.7% - low level; 50% - sufficient level; 23.3% - medium level), changed significantly the values at the control phase of the experiment, taking into consideration the participation of the employees at 6 training sessions. Conclusions. Relational competence of the social pedagogues is considered essential in the formation of the social pedagogues for facilitating long-time communicative interactions and maintaining equilibrated relations with the trained people. In order to clarify the specificity of social interactions by communication in the activity of the social pedagogues there have been established the levels and particularities of the development of the relational competence of the social pedagogues, orienting the investigation to a scientific knowledge of this phenomenon in the pedagogical education by means of synthetization of the most representative concepts, theories, principles, axioms, models, values, norms and rules of relational communication in the field of social work, theoretical support necessary for renovating the university curricula for education of the social pedagogues.
