Clothing in traditional society performed the function of a kind of «passport» of a person. From the border of the 19th and 20th centuries. the traditional authentic burden in everyday life is replaced by European clothing, but it becomes a Ukrainian national symbol, interest in which increased with each wave of national revival of Ukrainians. That is why it is so important to study museum collections, both physical and photographic documents, which allow to recreate the folk order by members of folklore groups, modern designers and lovers of folk culture.
