The period between those two wars underwent many social, economic and political changes that could influence the history of the Romanian literature. The changes from the everyday life affected implicitly the spiritual life. The Romanian literature tried to develop and assert itself at the European level in order to valorize the originality of the national culture and to shape the new course of the interwar spiritual life. In such a way, at least theoretically, the person’s fulfillment is achieved, there is a spiritual aspiration for rediscovering the original, spiritual and moral power, the utopian hopes that were at the bedrock of developing the value judgments of the Romanian literature sustain them.
