Rezumat

The reactions of strontium and barium salicylates with iron nitrate gave heterometallic complexes {[FeSr2(Sal)2(SalH) 2(NO3)(DMA)4]} n (I) and {[FeBa 2(Sal)2(SalH)3(DMA)4(H 2O)]} n (II). The solid compounds are one-dimensional coordination polymers where bridging function is performed by salicylic acid residues and the NO 3 - group (in I). The salicylic acid residues are coordinated in the chelating bridging mode, their denticity ranging from 2 to 5. The IR spectra, magnetic properties, and thermal behavior of the complexes were studied.
