Rezumat

The writer Aureliu Busuioc (October 26, 1928 – October 9, 2012) distinguishes the possibility to reveal the social problems by means of the ancient myth. During the period of censorship in the USSR the images of the ancient culture camouflaged the subtly exposed attitude employing an intellectual refinement. The desecration and revaluation of the myth, its modernization and the problems it treats, the ironic use and even the parody of the myth - all these are specific to Aureliu Busuioc's poems which debate such motives as the origin of the word, the appearance and disappearance of the man, the time (embodied by Cronus), consciousness (Prometheus or the Eagle, centaur Chiron). Non-conformism is a way to uniquely elucidate the social strangleholds of being like everyone else. The diagnosis of the society is revealed in several poems. Thus, in the poem Metamorphosis, the mythology is taken from the creation of the Roman poet Ovid and Aureliu Busuioc creates a parody game of blaming a society without entity, in which the Socratic search is impossible, or, in the act of knowing yourself the person is missing. This is an allusion to social manipulation and tendencies to disfigure identity.
