Diaspora Institutions are a new and important trend occurring in the field of international migration management. Practically at this moment the founding standards and best practices in the field of diaspora institutions are being established. Understanding these trends, and identifying the best practices and approaches used by other states is of a significant importance, for Republic of Moldova. Especially considering the fact that a special authority in this field was created in 2012, and also the increasing community of moldovan migrants. This research will try to summarize some of the existing trends and the lessons which the moldovan authorities could deduce from them. |
