Rezumat

(Figure Presented) Metallomacrocyclic arrays containing eight copper(II) centers (see picture; green Cu, blue N, red O, yellow S) were obtained by using a heptadentate thiocarbohydrazone ligand with a particular conformational and configurational flexibility, as well as an appropriate arrangement of metal-binding sites, coordination ability, and acid-base properties.
