Orice limbă are perioade de înflorire, dar și de degradare. Limba română din Basarabia a fost deseori surghiunită. În pofida tuturor obstacolelor și anilor de ruginire, Limba Română a încercat să iasă învingătoare. Astăzi, româna din Republica Moldova a ajuns, în sfârșit, acasă. Dar până la restabilirea ei cu adevărat mai avem de trudit mult.

Every language has periods of prosperity and decline. The Romanian language from Basarabia was often exiled.
