The authors examine the constitutional guarantees of human rights, appreciating them as a totality of the economic, social, political and ideological provisions enshrined in the Constitution, which predetermine the reality of implementa-tion and the implementation mechanisms of all human rights and freedoms, being a decisive precondition for their rea-lization. Reviewing the existing problems in the system of constitutional guarantees of human rights, noting the existing deficiencies in constitutional justice, the authors emphasize that the edification of the rule of law and the reform of justice must be based on the values of respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms. In conclusion, the constitutional judges are called upon to ensure, through the implementation of constitutional justice, the strict observance of the funda-mental human rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova.
