Rezumat | ||||||
The information society is born only in an environment where the number of those who use information technologies exceeds a critical value; only when the access to the computerized tools becomes a mass phenomenon we can say that we are in a space where civilization in its informational status was accepted. The competence in information technology and communications related to the process of education and training; therefore, the education system is directly involved in the substation of the information society. Information as a fundamental element of human activities for the homo informaticus of IIIrd Millennium has become a valuable product and represents a component of the educational process. Computerization of educational process appears as a necessity and the effect of the development of computer science and computing engineering. Thus the need arises to ensure the access to the information society's values. |
