In the present material we would like to highlight some modalities of unusual lexicographic presentation of the lexicon, namely on fields, notional and semantic groups. The words and their meanings combine, independently of our consciousness, in various groups, and the rules for using the lexicon are conditioned by both the semantic and the communicative factor. However, this way of approaching the lexicon also substantially facilitates the process of teaching and acquiring a language. From this perspective, the lexicographers from the Institute of Romanian Philology "Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu" developed and edited two specific lexicographic works, which we will also mention in this article.
