În contextul aniversar de 110 ani de la naștere și comemorativ de 30 de ani de la decesul lui Nicolai Costenco, în anul 2023, articolul de față propune o analiză tematică și cantitativă asupra volumul de poezii, publicat postmortem, „Libertăți”. Dincolo de toate prejudecățile nedrepte, subiectivismul exagerat și marginalizarea poetului, trebuie să subliniem că poezia sa are un mesaj profund trăit și asumat. Principalele teme abordate în volum sunt: suferința, viața, patria, limba maternă și iubirea/ dragostea, care au fost analizate și din perspectiva numărului de ocurențe în volum.

In the context of the 110th anniversary of birth and the 30th commemorative of Nicolai Costenco’s death, in 2023, the present article proposes a thematic and quantitative analysis on the volume of poetry, published postmortem, Libertăți (Liberties). Apart from all the unjust prejudices, the exaggerated subjectivism and the marginalisation of the poet, we must point out that his poetry has a profound message that had been experienced and assumed. The main approached themes in the volume are: suffering, life, homeland, the native language and love/ devotion, which have been analysed as well from the perspective of the number of occurrences in the volume.
