Rezumat | ||||||
The research of the problem regarding the role of the Hârbovăț monastery in the monastic life between the Prut and Dniester rivers in the 1730s - 1960s – follows, like other research subjects in the field of history, four distinct stages, tied with the historical evolution of the targeted region: 1) the first stage includes the years 1812–1917; 2) the second stage focuses on the interwar period and the Second World War (1918–1940, 1941–1944); 3) the third stage in the research process of ecclesiastical life and monasticism includes the Soviet period (1940–1941, 1944 – the end of the ̕1980s); 4) the fourth stage falls within the chronological milestones between the end of the ̕1980s and present time. |
