Today it is unanimously recognized that the free development of the human personality represents a supreme value and is the synthetic indicator of the rule of law. This natural state lies in ensuring the fundamental rights and freedoms of man and citizen, constitutionally guaranteed. A special role in these rights and freedoms plays the rights to the “individual freedom and security of the person" condition of his existence protected by the state. In this article we analyze the doctrinal concepts and the normative constitutional regulations on ensuring the right to liberty and security.

Astăzi este unanim recunoscut că libera dezvoltare a personalității umane reprezintă o valoare supremă și este indicatorul sintetic al statului de drept. Această stare naturală a lucrurilor rezidă în asigurarea drepturilor și liberaților fundamentale ale omului și cetățeanului, constituțional garantate. Un rol aparte în cadrul acestor drepturi și libertăți îi revine “libertății individuale și siguranței persoanei” condiție al existenței sale, condiție protejată de către stat. În comunicarea data vom supune cercetării conceptele doctrinare și reglementările normative-constituționale privind asigurarea libertății individuale și siguranței persoanei.
