Relațiile politice dintre Țara Moldovei și Polonia în secolul al XVI-lea au fost marcate de problema teritorială în jurul Pocuției, originea acestui conflict teritorial a devenit solicitarea a unui împrumut de 4. 000 de ruble al regelui Wladislaw Jagiello pe care se obliga să-i restituie integral peste trei ani de zile, în schimbul împrumutului, regele punând drept amanet orașul și ținutul Halici cu Pocuţia. Deja către finele domniei lui Ștefan cel Mare și perioada domniei fiului acestuia Bogdan al III-lea, problema teritorială în jurul Pocuției a reapărut din nou devenind una esențială în relațiile politice moldo-polone. Domnul Bogdan al III-lea dorea să utilizeze problema teritorială ca un instrument de a obține alianța politică cu polonezii. În cadrul tratativelor acesta a stabilit relații cu marii magnați ai Coroanei, reprezentanți ai familiilor Kamieniecki, Firlej, Boryszewski, Chodecki ș.a. Astfel, domnul Moldovei intenționa prin intermediul acestora să-și atingă scopul său politic și să încheie o alianță cu Polonia. În comunicarea respectivă urmărim reflectarea unor considerații privind relațiile politice dintre domnul Moldovei Bogdan al III-lea și magnații polonezi.

The political relations between Moldova and Poland in the 16th century were marked by the territorial issue around Pocutia, the origin of this territorial conflict was the request for a loan of 4,000 rubles from King Wladislaw Jagiello, which he was obliged to repay in full over three years, in exchange for the loan, the king pledging the city and land of Halici with Pocutia. Already towards the end of the reign of Stephen the Great and the period of the reign of his son Bogdan III, the territorial problem around Pocutia reappeared again, becoming an essential one in the Moldavian-Polish political relations. Bogdan III the One-Eyed wanted to use the territorialissue as a tool to obtain political alliance with the Poles. During the negotiations, he established relations with the great magnates of the Crown, representatives of the Kamieniecki, Firlej, Boryszewski, Chodecki, etc. families. Thus, Bogdan III the One-Eyed intended through them to achieve his political goal and conclude an alliance with Poland. In this communication, we aim to reflect some considerations regarding the relations between Bogdan III the One-Eyed and the Polish magnates.
