In the article, author analyzed the phenomenon of propaganda. Although the information plays an important role since ancient times, in the post-truth age it manages to produce major changes. Following the Anglo-Saxon and Latin traditions, we discover that propaganda is a tool that can be used according to interests. The research seeks to identify why the number of propaganda material increases in the 20th century. The are approache many theories, such as behaviorism, the spiral of silence, or the theory of the crowd, to explain the mechanisms of propaganda. The knowing of the the mechanisms creates the immunity to black propaganda, and citizens of countries like the Republic of Moldova can protect themselves from its effects. |
