Rezumat | ||||||
Diversity requires the development in schools of some education programs for democratic citizenship that respond to differences within and between peoples. In the process of unfolding these programs, educators should address various specific terms: multiculturalism, interculturality, democratic citizenship, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue, acceptance, tolerance, unity, values, principles. By using pedagogical strategies appropriate to the level of development, teachers must guide students to a deeper understanding of these concepts, which will lead to the acquisition of the values and principles of education for diversity. |
