The global scientific consensus, whenever necessary, states that the only chance to stop the spread of viruses in the long term is the widespread use of vaccines, thus ensuring the safety of global health. Therefore, vaccines are a medical and scientific argument, which demonstrates by decreasing morbidity and mortality, that diseases can be prevented, controlled and eliminated. However, the mechanism for monitoring rumours, misinterpretations of the new coronavirus vaccine and COVID-19 requires more effective, accurate and faster immunization coverage, including public health experts and clear guidance for addressing post-immunization adverse effects and minimizing false contraindications. In this article, we aim to present the contribution of bioethical principles and some of their perspectives in guiding vaccination strategies against COVID-19. |
