The analysis of the education sphere in Gagauzia revealed the availability of systemic problems and challenges that complicate the implementation of high-quality education, and also identified possible ways to develop this area, taking into account its specifics and potential in the region. In this context, it was found that one of the significant challenges is to improve the regulatory framework and framework of education policies. The national legislation does not have consistency in the reflection of the powers of Gagauzia, and there is also no clear distinction between issues of education in the field of education. The current strategic documents on the development of education at the national level require the use of a territorial approach focused on local needs and ensuring equal chances of high-quality education for all.
