Rezumat

What is Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RM? According to the Law “On the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova” N393-XIV from 13.05.99 status of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova is defined as “a non-governmental, self-governing and independent organization, .. representing aggregate interests of moldovan entrepreneurs. The Chamber is a legal entity of public law and has the support of the state.” What are the tasks of CCI RM? ● Support moldovan economic agents ● Promote trade and industry on local and international levels ● Promote development of enterprenerial activity ● Organize professional trainings and improvement of professional skills of its members ● Assist and consult enterpreneurs Create a positive image of the Republic of Moldova on the international arena. In order to see how effective is work of the CCI, recently there has been done a survey among its members where they were asked about the reason of entering to Chamber. Most of the companies joined CCI in order to enlarge connections, promote and develop their companies, participate in exhibitions, trainings, bilateral forums, obtain new opportunities and get benefits from being member of Chamber of Commerce and industry. Statistics shows that 67% are satisfied with their decision and would recommend their friends to enter it, but unfortunately just 25% do often use services of CCI and 70% rarely benefit from them. According to 28% of respondents, influence of Chamber of Commerce has increased and 40% affirmed that there were no changes. After the research it is observed that influence and connection between Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and its members has decreased and become weaker, thus it is very important to improve tactic of communication with members and to orient CCI in three directions: ·Representing private sector interests; ·Regional development; ·Technical help to businesses.
