The society materializes its protection measures, against those who commit crimes, by isolating them in penitentiaries. Penitentiaries are highly vitiated environments, maintaining the criminal subculture, through the kind of relationships that persons deprived of their liberty establish within the group. The social reintegration program for persons deprived of their liberty, through professional reintegration programs, includes details on a modular program prior to release to be administered by prison staff. It is important to mention that this program is part of a process of social integration of people released from detention, but the whole process is not limited to this program. A program started in the penitentiary cannot aim to solve all the problems faced by persons deprived of their liberty after release. The program should be seen as a very important first step in the process of preparation for release and post-criminal assistance, a step that helps the person deprived of liberty for the purpose of professional reintegration, to collaborate with the probation counselor and other community agencies to develop an adequate post-criminal assistance plan. The vision of the penitentiary service is that it must acquire the status of social partner that the community needs. Given that persons deprived of their liberty belong to the community, the detention institution thus provides an essential service to society. The focus of the research we have proposed is: Studying the process of social reintegration of persons deprived of liberty and analyzing strategies to ensure the socio-professional integration of persons released from detention in Romania. At the beginning of the study, we hypothesized that: the reintegration of persons deprived of their liberty depends on raising the level of professional training of detainees and raising awareness among detainees about its importance in the labor market. Social reintegration is the restructuring of the offender's character in such a way that he or she becomes active in society without committing crimes in the future. The assistance provided to detainees is materialized in the development of intervention programs focused on the criminogenic needs of criminals and in the support of the detainee in order to satisfy social needs (education, housing, employment, employment).

Societatea îşi materializează măsurile de protecţie, împotriva celor care săvârşesc infracţiuni, prin izolarea acestora în penitenciare. Penitenciarele sunt medii puternic viciate, menţinând subcultura infracţională, prin genul de relaţii pe care persoanele private de libertate le stabilesc în cadrul grupului.Programul de reintegrare socială a persoanelor private de libertate, prin programe de reinserție profesională include detalii cu privire la un program modular premergător liberării ce urmează a fi administrat de personalul din penitenciare. Este important să menţionăm că acest program face parte dintr-un proces al integrării sociale a persoanelor eliberate din detenție, însă întregul proces, nu se rezumă doar la acest program. Un program început în penitenciar nu îşi poate propune să rezolve toate probleme cu care se confruntă persoanele private de libertate după eliberare. Programul trebuie privit ca fiind o primă etapă foarte importantă în cadrul procesului de pregătire pentru liberare şi asistenţă post penală, etapă care ajută persoana privată de libertate în scopul reinserție profesionale, să colaboreze cu consilierul de probaţiune şi cu alte agenţii din cadrul comunităţii pentru a elabora un plan adecvat de asistenţă post penală. Viziunea serviciului penitenciar este aceea că trebuie să dobândească statutul de partener social de care comunitatea are nevoie. Având în vedere că persoanele private de libertate aparţin comunităţii, instituţia de detenţie oferă, astfel, un serviciu esenţial pentru societate.
Scoрul cercetării care ne-am propus este: studierea procesului de reintegrarea socială a persoamelor private de libertate și analiza strategiilor de asigurare a integrării socioprofesionale a persoanelor eliberate din detenție din România. La începutul studiului, am înaintat ipoteza precum că: reintegrarea рersoаnelor private de libertate deрinde de ridicarea nivelului de pregătire profesională a deținuților și conștientizarea de către deținuți asupra importanței acesteia pe piața muncii.
