Rezumat | ||||||
The goal of the paper is the course of Romanian terminology of education, through which is illustrated the dialogue of cultures – throughout time – into formation and specialization of the field. The body of the paper consists of specialty works (translated from several languages) and dictionaries from different eras (general and specialized). It proves the idea that initial terms, inherited from Latin or borrowed from Greek and Slavonic, start to be challenged over time by new terms of French, Italian, German and Classic Latin origin, and a bit later of English origin, which are incorporated, in different degrees, in the language of education. |
