Acest articol examinează problema respectării drepturilor credincioșilor ortodocși, majoritari în Republica Moldova. Atenția față de factorul religios este considerată un factor de inhibare a procesului de integrare a Republicii Moldova în UE. În același timp, se exprimă îngrijorarea privind respectarea drepturilor cetățenilor ortodocși și păstrarea confortului lor spiritual în cazul aderării Moldovei la Uniunea Europeană. În cele din urmă, toleranța religioasă a ortodocșilor diferă de toleranța religioasă a catolicilor și a protestanților, majoritari în UE.

Th is article explores the problem of observing the rights of Orthodox believers, who in the Republic of Moldova have a majority. Attention is drawn to the religious factor as a factor of inhibition of the process of Moldova’s integration into the EU. At the same time, concern is expressed about the observance of the rights of Orthodox citizens and the preservation of their spiritual comfort in case of Moldova joining the European Union. Aft er all, the religious tolerance of the Orthodox diff ers from the religious tolerance of Catholics and Protestants, of whom the majority in the EU.

В этой статье рассматривается проблема соблюдения прав православных верующих, которых в Республике Молдова большинство. Внимание к религиозному фактору рассматривается как фактор торможения процесса интеграции Молдовы в ЕС. В то же время выражается озабоченность по поводу соблюдения прав православных граждан и сохранения их духовного комфорта в случае присоединения Молдовы к Европейскому союзу. В конце концов, религиозная толерантность православных отличается от религиозной толерантности католиков и протестантов, которых большинство в ЕС.
