For the sustainable use of natural raw materials the focus is on the introducing of new technologies and the selection of new sources rich in biologically active compounds and antioxidants necessary for a balanced diet. As secondary raw materials were selected grape and tomato seeds. A relatively new method of raw material processing is CO2-extraction, which has a great interest to obtain biologically active compounds and products. Using this method it can be isolated in a selective way, the required compounds from the raw material at temperatures that don’t degrade the native state of the product. |
