Rezumat | |||||||
Linguistic culture implies an exploration of the linguistic communication competency, according to real circumstances and contexts, which include choosing a register and picking verbal/nonverbal codes. In educational and professional contexts, it is edified on terminological literacy — a lengthy process that takes place along the whole length of formal education, but does not stop with its end. The educational system needs to develop a basic list of all terms the students are required to learn and to be capable of using; this will help them understand the academic content they are presented with and will improve their communication skills along the same lines. There should also be in place a transdisciplinary strategy designed for approaching such terms. |
