| Rezumat | ||||||
Acute diarrheal diseases represent
a major public health issue, with
both high frequency and serious
clinical manifestations. Based upon
the results discussed in the paper, it
was concluded that the hydric fac-
tor plays the most important role
in influencing the acute diarrheal
diseases incidence. Therefore, the
main steps in preventing the spread
of these diseases are: ensuring or-
ganized collectivities with enough
water, respecting the hygienic and
anti-epidemic regimes, and actively
screening the carriers.
