Two types of responsability may be brought to the President of Romania: political responsibility and liability. Each of them are regulated at constitutional level. President liability for work carried on in that capacity is a complex and delicate issue that has triggered a massive transformation over time. However, no head of state can be outside the responsibility because no one is above the law. The results of political responsability are political and legal consequences. This liability occurs when the President committed grave acts infringing upon constitutional provisions.
