Today’s political, social, demographical, economical and financial situation at a global and national level trigger a rapid development of social relations and the continuous advancement of their complexity which, in its turn, generates the revision of traditional views and concepts, imposing the necessity of determining the new possibilities of ensuring social stability, of conserving the ethical‑moral values, of adequate children’s education as new members of the society. As such, these challenges didn’t leave on the outside the family — the cell of the society. Ensuring social stability, including through the consolidation of the family institution, is a challenge of primary importance for the state. Thus, mediation can become an efficient instrument in family disputes’ resolution due to the corresponding possibilities and benefices that it proposes to this specific conflicts. This article is an essay to draw a possible direction of mediation development in the Republic of Moldova — family mediation.
