Hepatic pathology in pregnancy can have fatal implications for both the mother and the fetus. Disturbances of hepatic function of pregnant women are divided into two groups: pregnancy specific diseases (pregnancy intrahepatic cholestasis, pregnancy acute hepatic adipose dystrophy (DAAHS), HELLP syndrome) and pregnancy independent hepatic diseases (acute viral and iatrogenic hepatitis, chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, benign hyperbilirubinemia, gallstones) the pregnancy occurrence background. Dystrophic hepatic disorders in pregnancy, both pregnancy acute hepatic adipose dystrophy and HELLP syndrome precipitate dramatic complications for mother and fetus, manifested by distinct signs of acute hepatic defi ciency with frequent development of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. The differential diagnosis of these two forms of acute hepatic dystrophy does not simplify the intensive therapy care, because the similarity of pathological processes in these syndromes requires the admission to intensive therapy care units, for cardiopulmonary monitoring and argues for the same intensive treatment, including obstetrical tactics |
