The aim of this publication is to familiarize interested people with the new results in breeding leguminous crops at Selectia Research Institute of Field Crops. The new variety of peas – Nadia with agronomic and technologic advantages can significantly reduce the yield losses during harvesting period of time. New varieties of soya – Moldovita and Igorina are more tolerant to droughts due to a better architecture of crops and consequently they are more productive. New varieties of dry beans Marita and Petrela are more attractive for their biger grains. By extending new varieties of leguminous crops will allow to solve the problems with soil fertility and deficit of protein.
