Rezumat

A proper implementation and development of labor law regarding the labor law of people with disabilities and their needs depends on a great understanding degree of the need for socio- professional integration and support of this social category for both own good and for the added value that can bring to society through their sustained work.  The people with disabilities statute as well as their fundamental rights and freedoms are among the most debated topics at European level, being constantly reviewed and supplemented to establish a valid universal normative framework to contribute to combating discrimination of people with disabilities in the socio- professional sphere.   To support the importance of both social and professional integration of people with disabilities at European level, we considered relevant for our study the socio- professional integration policies developed on the territory of Romania and on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in a comparative way.
