Rezumat

During 2012-2014 in the conditions of the Northern Steppe of Ukraine, the highest yield capacity of different varieties of winter wheat (5.71-6.74 t/ha) were formed at the top dressings of plants with ammonium nitrate in a dose N60 at the end of the tillering stage. The best quality of grain was observed at the application of nitrogenous fertilizers in the dose of N30 in two steps: ammonium nitrate – by means of local method, and then carbamide - by means of foliar top dressing method. Maximum yielding capacity indexes were at the varieties Zamozhnist and Lytanivka, and the quality of grain was maximum at the variety Sonechko.
