The article discusses the principles of the study of ceramic assemblages, which form the basis for the reconstruction of the local grouping and the relative chronology of the Cucuteni A – Tripolye BI sites. They are based on the completeness and reliability of the data, analysis of the distribution of ceramics in the layer, studies on ceramic technology, typology of pottery that is built on the basis of comparison of the shapes and decorations of vessels, which allows to reveal the pottery manufacturing traditions, peculiar to both individual settlements and their local groups. A critical analysis of the “structure” of culture during the considered period and the methods of its reconstruction proposed by N.B. Burdo [Burdo 2018] reveals that this approach does not correspond to the modern methods of analysis of materials. The construction of “social models” on this basis is a reasonable doubt.

În articol se analizează principiile de studiere a complexelor ceramice, care stau la baza reconstrucției grupurilor locale şi a cronologiei relative a monumentelor Cucuteni A – Tripolie BI. Acestea se bazează pe complexitatea și veridicitatea datelor; analiza distribuției ceramicii în straturile culturale; cercetarea tehnologiei ceramice; tipologia ceramicii, efectuată în baza comparației formelor și ornamentelor vaselor, care au permis identificarea tradițiilor ceramice caracteristice atât unor monumente individuale, cât și unor grupuri locale. Analiza critică a „structurii” culturii la această etapă și a metodelor de reconstrucție propuse de N.B Burdo [2018], demonstrează că această abordare nu corespunde metodelor moderne de analiză a materialelor ceramice. Elaborarea „modelelor sociale” pe această bază ridică îndoieli rezonabile.

В статье рассматриваются принципы исследования керамических комплексов, которые положены в основу реконструкции локального подразделения и относительной хронологии памятников Кукутень А – Триполье BI. Они базируются на полноте и достоверности данных; анализе распределения керамики в слое; исследовании керамических технологий; типологии керамики, выстроенной на базе сопоставления форм и орнаментов сосудов, что позволяет выявить традиции изготовления керамики, свойственных как отдельным памятникам, так и их локальным группировкам. Критический анализ «структуры» культуры на рассматриваемом этапе и методов ее реконструкции, предложенных Н.Б. Бурдо [Burdo 2018], показывает, что такой подход не соответствует современной методике анализа керамических материалов. Построение «социальных моделей» на этой основе вызывает обоснованные сомнения.
