The interaction of electric and magnetic fields with melted metals increases the area of spreading of the melt over the surfaces of the conducting bodies and the melt’s penetration ability into capillary slits in the connections due to the action of ponderomotive forces. This facilitates the increasing of the mechanical durability of the soldered connections.
