Given that in the Republic of Moldova up to 85% of the agricultural machinery used its limit operating time and needs repair, it is recommended to use the electro-discharge alloying method for hardening of worn-out parts. It is considered to be a recovery method of fits for wheel hub bearings of trucks. The article presents certain characteristics of the restored surfaces, test results and proposals on the restoration of the worn-out parts using this method. |
