Educaţia pentru schimbare şi dezvoltare, tehnologie şi progres integrează în formula sa două dintre noile educaţii lansate de UNESCO în anii 1980: 1) Educaţia pentru schimbare şi dezvoltare, 2) Educaţia pentru tehnologie şi progres. La nivel pedagogic general, conceptul-cheie este cel de schimbare în educaţie, aplicat în: a) definirea educaţiei (vezi funcţia de formare a personalităţii educatului orientată pozitiv în direcţia dezvoltării acestuia); b) analiza transformărilor care au loc, în mod obiectiv, în cadrul procesului şi al sistemului de învăţământ. La scara procesului de învăţământ intervin schimbările curente, permanente, necesare pentru perfecţionarea activităţilor specifice, fără a afecta structura sistemului de învăţământ. La scara sistemului de învăţământ intervin schimbările globale, realizabile prin reformele învăţământului necesare ciclic pentru depăşirea crizei care apare în structura de funcţionare a sistemului de învăţământ la nivel de organizare, conducere managerială, distribuţie a resurselor pedagogice, relaţie cu societatea. La nivel de conţinuturi pedagogice particulare, speciale, educaţia pentru schimbare şi dezvoltare este integrată în categoria noilor educaţii proiectate ca răspunsuri la problematica lumii contemporane. Raportarea educaţiei pentru schimbare şi dezvoltare la educaţia pentru tehnologie şi progres poate susţine construcţia unui nou concept. Avem în vedere educaţia pentru schimbare şi creativitate – abordată la nivel superior, inovator, favorabil dezvoltării şi optimizării relaţiei dintre evoluţia tehnologiei şi progresul general, reflectat la scara socială a calităţii existenţei umane.

The concept of Education for Change and Development, Technology and Progress integrates into its formula two of the new educations launched by UNESCO in the 1980s: education for change and development, and education for technology and progress. At the general pedagogical level, the key concept is the change in education applied in: a) the definition of education (see the function of forming the personality of the educated, positively oriented towards its development; b) the analysis of the transformations that take place objectively within the process and the educational system. At the scale of the educational process, current, permanent changes take place and are necessary to improve the specific activities, without affecting the structure of the educational system. At the scale of the educational system, global changes occur, which are achievable by the cyclical educational reforms necessary to overcome the crisis that occurs in the functioning structure of the educational system at the levels of organization, managerial management, distribution of pedagogical resources, and relationship with society. At the level of specific and special pedagogical content, the education for change and development is integrated into the category of new educations, which are designed to respond to the problems of the contemporary world. Reporting education for change and development to education for technology and progress can support the construction of a new concept. We consider the education for change and creativity – approached at a higher innovative level, favorable to the development and optimization of the relationship between the evolution of technology and general progress, reflected on the social scale of the quality of human existence.
