Rezumat

The sunflower moth, Homoeosoma Nebulella Hb., is a palaearctic species that has a wide distribution from Western Europe to North America and is the most common pest of sunflowers (Helianthus annuus L.) There has been increasing interest subsequently in the control of sunflower moth in sunflower plantations. In attempt to trap sunflower male moths was studied female pheromone. Four components, (9Z)-9-tetradecenal (8.6%), (9Z,12E)-9,12-tetradecadienal (4.8%), (11Z)-ll-hexadecenal (49.5%), and (13Z)-13-octadecenal (37.1%), were identified in extracts of female pheromone glands of the European sunflower moth, using GC and GC-MS analyses. Due to sensibile composition of the female sex pheromone to different factors of environment their biologic activity decreases. In the purpose to extend the period of biologic activity to the synthetic blend was added an stabilizer(antioxidant) like α-tocopherol. In this study was identified the optimum dozes of sex pheromones and stabilizer used as efficient attractant by field trapping trials on experimental sunflower plantation with prolonged period of biologic activity to three weeks.
