Rezumat

Currently exists large number of substances - p53 activators, released for clinical trials. This review presents different classes of compounds of natural origin which can cause accumulation of p53 in tumor cells. Particular attention is given to anti-cancer drugs based on indole scaffold and their derivatives of natural origin.
