This article presents the results of the investigation of gypsum hydration processes in the presence of carbon nanomodifiers. The hemihydrate calcium sulfate molecule interaction with graphene-like surface is the chemical phenomenon, which is demonstrated by the quantum-chemical analysis methods. The CNTcontaining gypsum composite strength improvement is due to the accelerated process of hemihydrate calcium sulfate crystallization at the graphene surface. |
