A continuous ring isomorphism _ : (R, _ ) → ( bR, b_) is said to be semi- topological from the left (right) in the class ℜ provided (R, _ ) is a left ideal (right ideal, ideal) of a topological ring ( e R, e_ ) ∈ ℜ and _ = e_ |R for a topological homomorphism e_ : ( eR, e_) → ( bR, b_). The article contains several criteria for a continuous homomorphism to be semi-topological from the left (right). Mathematics subject classification: 16W80. |
