В статье проанализирована деятельность основных органов ЕС в сфере обращения с отходами для усовершенствова- ния институционального механизма регулирования отношений в области обращения с отходами в Украине, что позволит повысить эффективность применения правовых норм в отношении отходов и обращения с ними. А также вспомогатель- ных органов, которые играют не менее важную роль, чем основные, и дают ЕС возможность гибкого реагировать на проблемы, связанные с отходами и обращения с ними. С помощью институтов и органов Европейский Союз обеспечи- вает достижение поставленных целей и реализации задач и в сфере обращения с отходами, и других сферах обществен- ной жизни. Вместе органы образуют целостную систему или организационный механизм, в котором каждый институт ЕС важно как отдельно, также и в правовой связи с другими.

The article examines the activities of the main EU’s institutions with a particular attention to their impact on the regulation of the relations in the area of the waste management with an aim to define the possible ways for the improvement of the waste management mechanism in Ukraine. It is argued that the improvement of the regulation of the institutional mechanism of the waste management in Ukraine in a manner, which would lead to the application of the corresponding EU standards, could definitely have positive impact onto increasing effectiveness and efficiency of the application of the domestic legal norms on waste and its management. It is stated that the EU subsidiary bodies, which play an equally important role the main EU institutions in the field of the waste management at the European level, are initially the instruments, which allow the EU to address quite flexible the sensitive problems associated with waste and waste management. While using its institutional mechanism the European Union ensures the achievement of its goals and objectives in the field of the waste management, as well as safeguards the implementation of the EU waste management standards on all levels. All EU institutions of any level and type, dealing with the waste management issues, form a coherent system, an united institutional mechanism, which perform their tasks in the field of the waste management both separately as well as a tight cooperation with each other.
