Literature was at all times substantially infused by works created for children and about children. It is a consequence of the fact that the humanity has come to the following conclusion: only the feeling of the childhood can manage to bring again imaginarily to the wonderful world of folk tales, legends, dreams and fantasy. The answer to the questions: what is the impact of literature on children, on the growing up generation, what factors contribute to its creation can be found in the very roots, beginning with the folklore. V. Alecsandri, I. Creangă, M. Eminescu, B.P. Hasdeu was concerned with the selection of the folklore for children. Valuable literary pieces for children, about children were written by Hector Malot, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Mihail Sadoveanu, Ionel Teodoreanu, Antuan de Saint-Exupery, Spiridon Vangheli etc.
